As operator of the website, Johanssen + Kretschmer Strategische Kommunikations GmbH (hereafter called JK or ‘we’ / ‘us’) is responsible for the personal data of the users of this website (hereafter also referred to as ‘you’) within the meaning of the German Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation.

What personal data do we collect?

Personal data is data permitting conclusions about your identity. We collect personal data only when you reveal it to us voluntarily. Depending on the way you use this website, this may include the following data:
When you use our contact form and write us an e-mail, we store your e-mail. When you ask us in the e-mail to contact you or send you material or our newsletter, we store the contact data you have supplied for this purpose. If this turns into a business relationship or collaboration or other form of cooperation, we store the contact data for the duration of this collaboration or cooperation or your newsletter subscription. Otherwise we delete the data within six months.

Why and on what legal basis do we collect your personal data?

We use the data you enter in the contact or newsletter box solely for the purpose of providing the service you have requested. We do this on the basis of Article 6 (1b) GDPR.

Your rights

You may contact us at any time to demand information about you, the correction, erasure or limitation of the processing of personal data about you which we have stored. You also have a right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Transfer of data to third parties

We do not pass on your data to third parties. Data may be processed beyond this scope only when a service contract is concluded subsequent to the initial contact. This would be agreed on separately in the service contract.

Links to other websites

Our website contains links to websites of other institutions, companies or providers with whom we are not associated. Once the respective link is clicked, we no longer have any influence on the processing of the transferred data (such as the IP address or where the link leads you), as we have no control over what third parties do. Therefore we cannot assume any responsibility for the processing of such data by third parties.



All information you submit to us will be stored on servers in Germany. We take technical and organisational security measures to ensure that your personal data is protected against loss, incorrect alterations or unauthorised access by third parties. Most importantly, we transfer your personal data in encrypted form. We use the Secure Socket Layer protocol (a specification for secure internet communication) to transfer your data. In our company, only authorised personnel will ever have access to your personal data, and even then only to the extent that this is necessary for the purposes specified above.

Matomo Web Analytics (formerly Piwik)

This website incorporates the open source web analytics service Matomo, which uses so-called ‘cookies’. These are text files stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of your use of the website. For this purpose, the information generated by the cookie about the use of this website is stored on our server. The IP address is anonymised before it is stored.
